Common Mistakes Authors Make with Their Websites

I reckon most of us either have a website or considered making one at some point, right?

And, hey, no biggie. With so many site builders out there today we can have a FREE site up and running in 5 minutes flat. I tried just to see if it could be done in that timeframe. No joke. Believe me, it can. Also no joke.

But the real question is…

What’s the actual purpose of an author site? Besides making us feel more legit (that’s the fake purpose haha). And what are some common mistakes most of us make?

Hope that video helped y’all!!

P.S. You can NOT actually have an entire book on Wattpad or openly available to the public anywhere else and still sell it on Amazon. I tried and they refused to publish. They also sent me a very nice warning letter haha! I won’t explain this cuz I’m sure you can read the TOS yourself but, yeah. Just FYI.

  1. Oh my goodness, I somehow missed your author name on this article and started reading, which got me thinking, “hey, this writer sounds really awesome!” True story! Sharing…and hopefully adding a sample to my website in the near future ๐Ÿ˜€
