While some genres might lead themselves more easily to conflict, for example any sort of crime book will have the primary source of conflict being the bad guys and the good guys working to bring those bad guys down!
But what about conflict in a romance novel? How do we create conflict, or a series of conflicts, that is believable, that gets readers invested, and that lasts the entire novel?
