Tell me how you feel

Here’s mine:

“Just answer the question, Mickey,” he prompted calmly.

The irrational urge to scream had returned. In full force. “Yes, I kissed him.”

Cale’s body jerked ever-so-slightly at the admission. “And?”

And?” She threw her hands up in exasperation. The only other option was ripping all of her hair out. “And then he told me that he still loves me, okay?”

“Oh, trust me, there was none of that,” she spat viciously, her composure quickly dissolving into complete and utter chaos. “Because I don’t love him. Because he’s…he’s not…”

Where am I going with this?

“He’s not you, damn it! Because I love you, okay?”

  1. Here’s mine from One

“I love her, Belle, but I’m not in love with her, because…” letting the sentence trail off.
    “Because…” Annabelle echoed.
Seeing that she needed to hear him say it, he released his hold on her wrist and slipped his arm around her waist, drawing her close. “Because I think I’m falling in love with you,” he whispered, cupping her cheek in his hand.

  2. She took another step and placed a soft hand on his chest directly over his heart. “You’re the only man to care, to keep pushing forward, to keep fighting for me. I don’t even know why my father does what he does. I’ve never been brave enough to ask.”
She raised her head, meeting his eyes. “I love you, Ben. I have for a long time. For the first time in my life, I’m willing to go against my father to keep what I want. And I want you. Do you still want me?”
“That was never in question.” He claimed her lips in a blistering passion and pulled her roughly against his hard body.

  3. “Dakota.” She whispered it when he moved to stand only a breath away.
“Please just tell me you feel the same. Forget about everything else going on right now and just tell me that I’m not crazy.”
“You’re not.” She said quietly. “You were always it for me too.”
“Thank God.” He cupped the back of her neck and pulled her in. He crushed his mouth to hers and she wrapped her arms around him.

  4. This is even more heart breaking than in first appears. It’s from Dark Love (which hopefully you got for free recently):

“I’m sorry Jonathan. I have to go now,” she said, tears trickling down her cheeks. “I hope I treated you well.”
    “Always Melanie.”
    “Good boy.”
Her breathing was shallow and raspy.
“I love you. I always have.”
“I know. I love you too.”
His tears were now unavoidable too, as he rubbed her hand.
