Thursday’s Thoughts

The holidays are here. What a fun and festive time. Food, presents, family, and just the spirit of Christmas flows everywhere you go. One thing I love is the music. It’s just an extra dose of holiday spirit every time I hear a lovely tune. What does this have to do with writing? Well, for one thing, my writing has slowly started to slack because of the holidays. Is that happening to you? Join us HERE, we like to keep each other motivated every day.

Writing exercise time.

Do you know the song The Twelve Days of Christmas?

“On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to me a partridge in a pear tree…” And don’t panic it’s a song again. You know who I’m talking to. *cough* *cough* Princess Jane *wink* *wink*  Let’s write our own Twelve Days of Christmas song.

Finish this song…

I’ll start it out… On the first day of Christmas, my hero gave to me a scorching sexy kiss.

*Laughs hysterically* Okay, it’s no Grammy winning verse there, but I’d love to see us write all twelve days. And it may not be a lot of words written, but it’s better than none! Happy writing:)

Much love,

💗 Queen Amanda

  1. Okay, because I can’t help myself, I’m gonna do the second verse as well…maybe even the third and fourth. Don’t make me write this song myself! *chuckles*

On the second day of Christmas, my hero gave to me
    Two stemmed roses
    and a scorching sexy kiss.

  2. On the third day of Christmas, my alpha gave to me
    Three sets of handcuffs,
    Two firm a** smackings,
And one (wouldn’t you like to know?) totally for free.

NOTE: Rhyming hurts my brain 😛

    1. Oh, crap on a stick! I totally didn’t read!! SORRY!!! Lemme try that again…

On the third day of Christmas, my hero gave to me
Three moonlit dinners (umm, vouchers? cuz you can’t eat that many dinners on one night haha!)
      Two stemmed roses
      and a scorching sexy kiss.

  3. Ugh to another song! Here’s mine . . .

On the fourth day of Christmas my hero gave to me
    Four ear plugs
    Three moonlit dinners
    Two stemmed roses
    And a scorching sexy kiss

Note – the ear plugs are so I don’t have to listen to all the music, and a spare pair in case I lose the first

  4. I’m loving this Christmas song…

On the fifth day of Christmas, my hero gave to me
    Five glow-in-the-dark condoms
    Four ear plugs
    Three moonlit dinners
    Two stemmed roses
    And a scorching sexy kiss

  5. On the sixth day of Christmas my hero gave to me
    Six angsty phone calls
    Five glow-in-the-dark condoms
    Four ear plugs
    Three moonlit diners
    Two stemmed roses
    And a scorching sexy kiss.
