Thursday’s Thoughts

We had a great question yesterday for Facebook Wednesday.  As a romance author how do you say goodbye to your characters after the final chapter? For me, I can never say goodbye, I’d miss them too much! Ah, missing something can be such heartbreak. It’s almost Christmas and I live in warm weather all year round. There’s no chance of getting snow where I’m at. And let me tell you, I would love snow for Christmas. I miss it! But only for Christmas. I don’t need it any other time. lol.

Isn’t this just beautiful?

Writing exercise time. ♥

What do you miss? What do you need to make your holiday a wonderful one?

And if you’re happy as clam and don’t need anything. Give me a glistening story from the picture above.  Doesn’t that picture just make you happy and wish for Christmas day already? It does for me:) And that’s all the snow I’ll be getting this year. *chuckles*

How many words did you write? 20? 30? 100? Awesome! One word written is better than none.

Much love,

💗 Queen Amanda

  1. Cale: Isn’t this just beautiful?
    Author: (growls) Don’t even start…
C: Relax! I was only reading the caption!!
    A: Well, don’t.
C: What’s with the aversion to snow anyway?
A: (narrows eyes) You live in Seattle, buddy.
    C: So?
    A: (sighs) You wouldn’t understand.

NOTE: In Alberta, snow looks pretty for about 7 1/2 minutes. Then it’s legit brown and people start driving into ditches. LMAO!! (Seriously.)

  2. I am in love with snow so the one thing I would wish for at Christmas is snow. Of course I live in Australia so its summer here, and even in the winter it doesn’t snow in Melbourne, but still snow at Christmas would make me happy! And . . . cos I’m a little bit obsessed with snow I bought fake snow to use this Christmas, apparently you just add water, mix, and get gorgeous pretend snow, so this Christmas I’ll be making a snowman and enjoying my snow!!

Haha, I think I said the word “snow” a lot of times in that one little paragraph!! Oh well, I’m gonna say it again, I love SNOW!!!!!

  3. Hummm, I live in Florida so no snow either. I like snow. But what I miss most is the fact that my nieces and nephews are no longer little and I don’t have the house full for the holiday. Had 28 for dinner at one time. That is down to like 10 and all adults now. Nothing like watching children open gifts and be excited about that football or barbie doll. I still do all the decorating, and do a deluxe rib roast dinner, but less cookie and pie baking and all that because everyone is watching their weight.
